Not only are you required to steer your horse around the course and ensuring he clears the obstacles, but you also need to balance speed with stamina. If you go too fast your horse will burn out, maybe not even finishing the race! Take it too slowly and you could find yourself a long way behing the pack. If your horse runs too fast, too quickly you will find that he loses stamina quickly. There are two different bars at the top of your screen, where you can see your horse's stamina and speed levels, allowing you to balance your horse's speed and stamina throughout the course.
